Scholarship assistance for local students remains the foundation of the Tuscaloosa County Chapter’s commitment of service to The University of Alabama. Beginning with a single endowed scholarship in the year 2000, an aggressive and focused approach to scholarship development has resulted in more than 80 fully endowed scholarships being created to offer scholarship assistance to deserving students in public and private high schools in the Tuscaloosa area.

In 2025, the Chapter awarded $192,600 in scholarships to 40 local students entering the University this fall. We invite you to join our mission to support rising UA legends in their academic endeavors by donating to the scholarship of your choice.

CREATE A SCHOLARSHIP

Our ability to endow new scholarships hinges upon the generosity of our Chapter’s members. Your support helps us provide local high school students with the opportunity to pursue top-tier educational and extracurricular experiences at the Capstone.
